Toploader Super Thick 130pt (10)

This toploader accepts cards up to 130 points in thickness. It is the widest format in Ultra Pro's 3 x 4 inch range, close to eleven times the thickness of an ordinary playing card.

Understanding point thickness: a point, or pt, equals one thousandth of an inch. A standard card measures around 12 pt. Sleeved it reaches 20 to 25 pt, and double-sleeved around 35 pt. Relic and jersey cards run between 50 and 75 pt. Multi-piece patch cards and booklet cards frequently exceed 100 pt.

This 130 pt format is reserved for the exceptional pieces in a collection: booklet cards that open out into two panels, patch cards with several stitched jersey fragments, cards with thick inserts or reinforced backing. These are the cards that even a 100 pt toploader will not take.

This pack contains 10 toploaders, against 25 for the thinner formats in the range. The smaller pack size reflects the use case: nobody protects fifty booklet cards, they protect a handful.

For your other cards, choose the appropriate format: 35 pt for standard cards, 75 pt for classic relic cards, 100 pt for common patch cards. A card that is too thin will sit completely loose in this toploader and its corners will wear with every handling.

The rigid plastic encloses the card, keeps it clean and absorbs impact. The 3 x 4 inch outer format remains compatible with standard storage boxes, though its thickness limits how many fit per box.
