HOW IT PLAYS
You send your Pals into battle, assign them to tasks, and build your base using Structure, Equipment and Event cards. The video game's logic carries over: catch, assign, build, rather than simply lining creatures up against each other.

WHY THE DISPLAY RATHER THAN SINGLE PACKS
Twelve packs is the point at which you can actually build decks and try out strategies instead of collecting isolated cards. On a launch expansion it is also the format that gives you the best shot at gathering the pieces of the game's first combinations.
